As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company and track claims. Please keep us informed of any changes to your insurance plan. You are responsible for the fees charged by our office, no matter what your insurance coverage may be. Most insurance companies should respond to the claim within four to six weeks. While we will do our best to maximize your dental insurance benefits, the patient or legal guardian is ultimately responsible for the cost of treatment if the insurance company does not pay. Payment plans are offered on a case by case basis.
NOTICE:
If you don’t see your preferred method on our list, please call our office at Johnson Oral Surgery Knoxville Phone Number 865-364-1122 to find out what other options may be available to you. We work with several of the major dental PPO insurance plans.
Please remember that your insurance provider only conveys estimated benefits to us and does not guarantee payment for services.
Typically, insurers do not cover all dental expenses. Dental insurance is designed to reduce your out-of-pocket expenses, but there will still be some out-of-pocket expenses you need to pay at the time of service. Think of your dental insurance as more of a coupon plan for dental work.
Also, be aware that our practice does not participate with Medical Insurances, Medicare, Medicare replacements, or Medicaid. Some medical insurance plans do contribute to impacted wisdom teeth, but generally speaking Medical Insurance does not work for Dental Care.
Note: This list is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee of coverage. We try to keep this section up to date, but still recommend contacting us in advance to confirm that we accept your insurance. When you complete our office paperwork it has a drop-down section where you can confirm what plans we are in-network with.
